Oversight of the Village’s sewer systems shall be the responsibility of the Director of Streets and Utilities. Said Director’s duties shall include all work in connection with the maintenance and operation of the sewerage system including control of the establishment and use of connections to the sewers. Said Director shall have charge of the issuance of licenses to persons engaging in the tapping of sewers, the issuance of permits for the construction of house sewers and sewer connections, the inspection of the construction of house sewers and sewer connections and the performance of all other duties in relation to the maintenance of the sewerage system as Council may direct. The Director of Streets and Utilities shall maintain accurate and complete records of all work performed under his/her supervision and shall submit an annual report to the Mayor and Council.
