§ 151.03 EXEMPT SIGNS.
   (A)   Municipal, county and state-owned signs. Traffic control signals and signs, street signs, flags, emblems, memorials, plaques and other signs designed and intended for the safety and convenience of the public may be located as authorized by the appropriate municipal, county and state officials with the jurisdiction therefor.
   (B)   Directional and information signs. Signs not exceeding six square feet in surface area displayed strictly for the direction, safety or convenience of the public, including signs which identify restrooms, parking area entrances or exits, freight entrances, addresses or similar signs are exempt from the provisions of § 151.02(D) and (E).
   (C)   Street numbers. Street numbers are exempt from the provisions of § 151.02(D), but shall not exceed six inches in height.
