§ 30.01 ABOLISHING ELECTION DISTRICTS PURSUANT TO I.C. 36-5-2.
   (A)   Town legislative body districts, also sometimes referred to as election districts, for election of members of the Town Council are abolished effective January 1, 2003. All members of the Town Council shall be elected at large.
   (B)   Effective January 1, 2003, candidates for the Town Council and members of the Town Council shall no longer be required to be residents of a particular district but must be residents of the town.
   (C)   The terms of office for the existing seats on the Town Council shall remain in place, in effect, and unchanged by this section.
