212.04 UNEXCUSED ABSENCES; RESIGNATION.
   Any member of a board or commission who accumulates three unexcused absences in the same calendar year shall be considered to have tendered his or her letter of resignation from such board or commission. An unexcused absence is defined as any absence from a regular or properly noticed special meeting for which the member has not notified the Chairperson or secretary or the City Manager's office in advance of such meeting of his or her inability to attend such meeting.
   Upon the resignation of any member of a board or commission, the Chairperson shall immediately notify the City Manager.
