The provisions of the laws of the State of Ohio regarding selection, promotion, demotion, discipline and removal of employees within the classified service of the Municipality, as provided by Section 7.06 of this Charter, shall be applicable under this Charter unless such provisions conflict with the provisions of this Charter, provided, however, that the Civil Service Commission shall not have jurisdiction concerning the selection, promotion, demotion, discipline and removal of employees of the Miamisburg City School District, and provided, further, that the Civil Service Commission shall have the power to adopt procedures, rules and regulations concerning the selection, promotion, demotion, discipline and removal of employees within the classified service of the Municipality, which procedures, rules and regulations may modify, supplement or supersede the laws of the State of Ohio, and in the case of conflict shall prevail over the laws of the State of Ohio.
The Civil Service Commission shall appoint and remove, subject to the civil service provisions of this Charter, all employees of the Commission.
