(a) The following uses are generally permitted uses in the RO-1 District:
(1) Research and development.
(2) Laboratories.
(3) Medical, dental and optical manufacturing uses.
(4) Sales offices, provided that no retail sales are conducted on the premises.
(5) Office buildings of an executive or of an administrative nature or incidental to those uses previously listed.
(6) Any use whose principal function is basic research, design and/or pilot experimental product development or technical training.
(7) Accessory buildings incidental to the principal use.
(b) The following special uses in the RO-1 District:
(1) Fitness/athletic clubs.
(2) Business, professional and administrative offices, provided that no retail sales are conducted on the premises.
(3) Contractor's offices.
(4) Credit unions.
(5) Other office or service uses similar to the above listed as determined by the Planning Commission.
(c) The following uses are prohibited in the RO-1 (Research-Office Light Industrial) District:
(1) Outdoor storage a principal or accessory (major or minor) use.
(2) Outdoor production or fabrication of any kind.
