1072.03 EXCESSIVE FALSE ALARMS.
   (a)   If any alarm system produces four or more false alarms in any twelve consecutive month period, written notice of that fact shall be given by certified mail or personal delivery to the subscriber or alarm user. False alarms include 9-1-1 telephone calls.
   (b)   If four or more false alarms are produced by any alarm system or telephone system in any twelve consecutive month period, it shall be deemed a violation of this chapter.
   (c)   Each subsequent false alarm that constitutes four or more false alarms in any twelve month period shall constitute a separate violation. (Ord. 5485. Passed 12-19-00.)
   (d)   For purposes of this section, a false alarm shall not be deemed to have occurred if the alarm was a direct result of extremely severe weather. The Alarm Administrator will make the final determination on all alarms.
   (e)   Such violations shall continue for each successive false alarm until twelve consecutive months have elapsed, during which time no false alarms have been recorded. At that time, the record will be cleared and the next false alarm shall be deemed the first incident.
