Collection of refuse that will not fit into a standard collection container or that is attended by special collection difficulties will be made by appointment only according to a schedule established by the City Manager or his or her designee. The City Manager or his or her designee may establish rules regarding types of containerization, bundling and pick-up location for such special materials. Effective for special trash collections occurring after March 21, 2002, a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the first half hour of collection time, plus twenty dollars ($20.00) for each additional half hour (or part thereof), will be charged for special collection. Payment must be made in advance unless the City determines to add the charge to the customer's water and sewer bill. Appointments may be made at the Service Center.
