A person who knowingly violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be punishable by a five-hundred dollar ($500.00) fine. Each day a violation is committed, or permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate offense and shall be fined as such.
