It shall be the duty of each licensed taxicab driver to keep an accurate daily call sheet or trip record containing a complete record of the operation of each taxicab driven by him or her each day and to turn his or her call sheet or trip record over to the taxicab operator at the end of his or her tour of duty.
It shall be the duty of every operator of a taxicab business to keep on file in the office thereof a call sheet or trip record containing a complete record of the daily operation of each licensed taxicab of such operator and to make such record immediately available to and submit the same for inspection by the Chief of Police upon request. Such record shall be kept for a period of at least one year.
