The Director of Public Safety may revoke the license of any taxicab operator at his or her discretion when the holder is convicted of or pleads guilty to a violation of this chapter or of any ordinance of the City or any law of the State regulating the speed of motor vehicles. The Director may also revoke such license in his or her discretion when, in his or her judgment, public safety and the convenience of the City require such revocation. (Ord. 1149. Passed 10-4-60.)
