Except for bona fide nightclubs, all public dances shall be discontinued and all public dance halls shall be closed on or before the hour of 12:00 midnight, except that upon application of a responsible individual, the Mayor may grant permission to continue a dance until 2:00 a.m. However, no ticket shall be sold or accepted for admission after the hour of 12:00 midnight. Bona fide nightclubs shall be permitted to hold dances until 2:30 a.m. (1966 Code §721.07)
