A. It shall be unlawful for any owner or resident of any property to keep or maintain upon such property dogs or cats or a combination thereof in a number not more than the lesser of fifteen (15) the resultant quotient obtained by dividing the total square foot area of the single family residential lot upon which the animals are to be maintained by 10,000.
B. Notwithstanding the foregoing a litter of such animals may be kept for a period of time not exceeding five (5) months from birth.
