The owner or representative shall follow the procedures established by the Article I of this Chapter in calling for the following inspections.
A. After Excavation, But Before Any Concrete Is Placed.
1. Reinforcement steel.
2. Electrical and electrical grounding.
3. Skimmers, inlets, hydrostatic relief valve, main drain and other pool piping.
B. Deck And Trench Inspection.
1. Deck reinforcement and grounding of ladders, handrails, diving board, slides, lights and other items that require grounding by the Mettawa Electrical Code.
2. Underground pool piping for skimmers, main drain, inlets, and pool fill piping.
3. Underground sanitary sewer piping.
4. Underground electric and gas piping.
C. Final Inspection. After completion of the pool and before use, the following items shall be inspected and approved.
1. General clean up.
2. Final grading.
3. Test kit and cleaning equipment.
4. Backwash piping.
5. Filter air release.
6. Influent and/or effluent gauges.
7. Reclamation system or sewer connection.
8. Heater relief valve.
9. Heater breaching.
10. Gas supply piping.
11. Fresh water supply piping.
12. The following valves shall be identified with all weather tags and indexed; the inlet(s), main, drain and skimmer(s).
13. GFI transformer and equipment installed and circuit breakers identified.
14. Safety rope and floats on-site.
15. Ladders, stairs and handrails installed.
16. No overhead electrical wires within ten (10) feet or pool area.
17. Diving board and/or slide installed per specifications.
18. Non-slip deck surface installed per code.
19. Flood lights, spot lights, yard lights per Village Code and Ordinances.
20. House system ground and meter jumper.
