A. Before proceeding with the erection, construction, or alteration of any swimming pool, whirlpool, spa, hot tub, therapy pool, soaker and other similar structures, a Building Permit application for such erection, construction or alteration shall be filed with the Building Administrator. Submitted plans shall contain the following information:
1. Pool dimensions, depths and volume in gallons; and
2. Type and size of filter systems, filtration and backwash capacities; and
3. Pool piping layout, with all pipe sizes and valves shown and types of materials to be used; and
4. The rated capacity and head at filtration and backwash flows of the pool pump in gallons per minute with the size and type of motor; and
5. Location and type of waste disposal system; and
6. Structural, design and details; and
7. Each application for permit to construct a public pool shall be accompanied by an approved permit for the construction issued by the State Department of Public Health in accordance with provisions of the laws of the State of Illinois.
