SECTION 9.302. ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   A.   The following siding material shall be permitted on principal dwellings:
      1.   Horizontal or vertical extruded aluminum panel;
      2.   Brick veneer;
      3.   Stone veneer;
      4.   Wood (rustic, drop, shiplap, bevel, and butt tip);
      5.   Fiber cement panel;
      6.   Fiber cement lap;
      7.   Wood shakes and shingles;
      8.   Exterior plaster (stucco);
      9.   Vinyl siding with a thickness of 0.048 inches or greater.
Hardboard panel-vertical, hardboard lap-horizontal, steel, particle board panels, and plywood panels shall not be permitted on principal residences.
   B.   Accessory Buildings.
      1.   Siding permitted on accessory buildings shall be of a type permitted on principal dwellings.
      2.   No metal roof shall be permitted other than a "standing-seam" type.
      3.   No accessory building shall have an area in excess of 2,000 square feet without a special use permit.
   C.   In addition to the foregoing provisions of this Section and other applicable regulations contained in this Chapter, the following additional regulations shall apply to buildings used for the stabling of horses:
      1.   The roof over a three-sided loafing shed located as permitted by the Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 15 of this Municipal Code), shall not exceed 1,200 square feet in area; and
      2.   "Pole barn" design is permitted for the construction of stable buildings.
