A. Pursuant to the authority vested in the corporate authorities of the Village of Mettawa, as a home rule unit by Article VII of the Illinois Constitution, and by Section 27 of the Illinois Video Gaming Act (230 ILCS 40/27, the "Act"): it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to install, operate and/or offer for use within the corporate limits of the Village any video gaming terminal, whether or not such premises where such terminal may be located is a licensed establishment or a licensed fraternal establishment or a licensed veterans establishment or truck stop establishment, as such terms are defined in the Act.
B. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit distributors, manufacturers or suppliers from distributing, manufacturing or supplying video gaming terminals for use and/or operation outside of the corporate limits of the Village.
