The Parks and Recreation Committee shall manage the Parks and Recreation Department, which shall operate and maintain the public parks established by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village, implementing the policies established pursuant to the powers and responsibilities of the President and Board of Trustees set forth in Sections 11-95-1 et seq., of the Illinois Municipal Code [65 ILCS 5/11-95-1 et seq.] as modified by this Municipal Code and the actions, from time to time, of the President and Board of Trustees that may be in conflict therewith.
