SECTION 2.101.  REGULAR MEETINGS.
   A.   All regular meetings of the President and Board of Trustees shall be held on the third Tuesday of each month at the hour of 7:30 p.m., provided that if the regular meeting falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall take place on the next secular day at the same hour.
   B.   All regular meetings of the President and Board of Trustees shall be held in the Cottonwood Room of the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 26225 N. Riverwoods Boulevard, Mettawa, Illinois.
   C.   Except as may otherwise be provided from time to time by applicable statutes, there being no principal office of the Village of Mettawa, public notices of regular meetings of the President and Board of Trustees shall be made by posting a notice of each at least forty-eight (48) hours before such meeting in the corridor outside of the door to the entrances to the Cottonwood Room in, and in the lobby of, the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 26225 N. Riverwoods Boulevard, Mettawa, Illinois, being the building where such regular meetings are to be held. Such notice shall contain the agenda of such meeting.
      1.   Although it has no full-time staff, if the Village maintains a website, the agenda of a regular meeting shall be posted on the Village of Mettawa website and shall remain thereon until the regular meeting is concluded. In addition, if the Village maintains a website, the public notice of the annual schedule of all regular meetings of the President and Board of Trustees shall be posted on the website and shall remain on the website until a new public notice of the schedule of regular meetings is approved. Failure to post on the website notice of any meeting or the agenda of any meeting shall not invalidate any meeting or any actions taken at such meeting.
      2.   If a change is made in regular meeting dates, at least ten (10) days in advance of such change, notice of such change shall be given by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the village. However, until the village has a population of more than five hundred (500), such ten (10) day notice may be given by posting a notice of such change in at least three (3) prominent places within the corporate limits of the Village at least ten (10) days in advance of such change. Notice of such change shall also be posted at the building in which the meeting is to be held, there being no principal office of the Village.
