(A) Operations of the Metra OIG will be suspended as of July 1, 2011.
(B) On or before June 30, 2011, the Interim Inspector General shall:
(1) Provide any final reports to the Board;
(2) Transfer any open investigations that cannot be completed by June 30, 2011 to the OEIG; and
(3) Cooperate with the OEIG in any efforts intended to ensure that allegations of fraud, waste or abuse that are received on or after July 1, 2011 are directed to the OEIG; provided, however, that the Interim Inspector General is not authorized to incur any fees or expenses after June 30, 2011.
(C) The Chairperson of the Board is hereby authorized to take such actions as necessary to implement this section.
