Metra will follow FTA requirements and the policies set forth below for projects seeking federal funding. To the extent they are feasible and prudent, mitigation measures will be employed at the source of the noise or along the path of the noise, and on rare occasions at the noise-sensitive sites (commonly called “receptors”).
