It is Metra’s policy to comply with federal requirements to ensure federal funding for its qualified projects. Accordingly, in order to ensure the reasonableness and feasibility of noise and vibration mitigation measures, Metra implements the policy described below. This policy is intended to follow the applicable FTA environmental guidelines while continuing to provide the required service to the public.
