§ 111.079 CONCLUSION OF SERVICE DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS.
   (A)   The Board of Directors of the Commuter Rail Division of the Regional Transportation Authority (“Commuter Rail Division”) hereby authorizes the conclusion of the service demonstration projects set forth in Exhibit A (incorporated in paragraph (E) below) attached hereto and specifically made a part hereof.
   (B)   The C&NW West Line Saturday Service and the NIRC/Milwaukee North Line mid-day service set forth in Exhibit A (incorporated in paragraph (E) below) are hereby authorized as permanent additions to the present commuter rail service.
   (C)   The NIRC/Milwaukee West Line mid-day service set forth in Exhibit A (incorporated in paragraph (E) below) is hereby extended until December 31, 1986.
   (D)   The Chairperson of the Commuter Rail Division and, at the Chairperson’s designation, the Executive Director of the Commuter Rail Division are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Commuter Rail Division to take such action as they deem necessary or appropriate to implement, administer and effect these service changes.
   (E)   Exhibit A service demonstrations:
      (1)   C&NW West Line Saturday service: this action entailed adding a round trip to the evening schedule on Saturday. A new outbound train was added at 10:40 p.m. (Chicago departure), and an inbound train at 8:10 p.m. (Chicago arrival). This service took effect Saturday, June 1, 1985.
      (2)   NIRC/Milwaukee North Line mid-day service: this project added a new train to depart Chicago at 1:30 p.m. and one to arrive Chicago at 4:17 p.m., weekdays only. This improvement was implemented on Monday, June 3, 1985.
      (3)   NIRC/Milwaukee West Line mid-day service: this proposal added a round trip on weekdays to narrow the three-hour gap that existed in the mid-day period. An outbound train departing Chicago at 11:00 a.m. and an inbound train arriving Chicago at 1:50 p.m. were involved. This improvement took effect on Monday, June 3, 1985.
