(A) The Board of Directors of the Commuter Rail Division of the Regional Transportation Authority (“Commuter Rail Division”) hereby releases the proposed 2023 operating and capital program and budget, the 2023 through 2025 financial plan and the 2023 through 2027 capital program for public hearings and public discussion.
(B) The Board of Directors of the Commuter Rail Division also authorizes said public hearing(s), to be held in the City of Chicago, Suburban Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, Lake County, McHenry County, Will County and virtually with times and locations as specified in the legal notice. This is in compliance with § 3B.10 of the Regional Transportation Authority Act (70 ILCS 3615/3B.10).
(C) The proposed 2023 operating and capital program and budget, the 2023 through 2025 financial plan and the 2023 through 2027 capital program may contain various scenarios that are being contemplated. The selection of scenarios, if any, by the Board of Directors will depend, in part, upon public comments received at public hearings and County Board presentations and other comments received from the public. The Commuter Rail Division will review all the public comments received at public hearings and other comments received from the public.
