(A) During the period between January 1, 1984 and August 31, 1984, a total of 75 were hired by the Commuter Rail Division. Of this number, 43 or 57.3% were males and 32 or 42.7% were females.
(B) A further breakdown shows that 36 or 48% were White males, 20 or 26.6% were White females, six or 8% were Black males, 12 or 16% were Black females and one or 1.3% was an Asian male.
