The internal monitoring and reporting of the Commuter Rail Division affirmative action policy is the responsibility of the EEO/DBE Director whose EEO duties include the following:
(A) Implementation and reaffirmation of the Commuter Rail Division affirmative action policy;
(B) Collecting and analyzing employment data, identification of problem areas, recommending goals and timetables and developing programs to achieve goals;
(C) Designing, implementing and monitoring internal audit and reporting systems to measure program effectiveness, determining progress made and where further action is needed and assuring that such action is taken;
(D) Prepares quarterly reports on progress in relation to CRD goals;
(E) Serves as liaison between the Commuter Rail Division and government regulatory agencies and protected class organizations;
(F) Assures that current legal and regulatory information affecting affirmative action is disseminated to the Acting Executive Director, Department Managers and Division Managers with the functional guidance of the General Counsel;
(G) Maintains a system for the resolution of allegations of discrimination in the workforce; and
(H) Supervise the overall activities of an E.E.O. Specialist whose duties will include the following:
(1) Maintenance of flow log statistics and affirmative action inquiry forms;
(2) Maintenance of promotions and training opportunities, statistics and continuing multiple regression study;
(3) Maintenance of relationship with community applicant sources;
(4) Investigating, interviewing and recommending solutions for allegations of discrimination by members of the workforce;
(5) Obtains and collects statistical data relating to eliminating underutilization; and
(6) Maintains log of all CRD recruitment efforts.
