§ 52.017 STATEMENT OF POLICY.
   (A)   It is the policy of the Commuter Rail Division of the Regional Transportation Authority (hereinafter referred to as “CRD” or “the Commuter Rail Division”) to seek and employ qualified personnel in all job classifications; to provide equal opportunities for the advancement of employees including upgrading, promotion and training; and to administer these activities in a manner which will not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap. This commitment to equal opportunity is fundamental to our policy.
   (B)   This policy will require special affirmative action throughout the Commuter Rail Division at every level of each department and division.
   (C)   The primary responsibility for the affirmative action program is assigned to the EEO/DBE Director who will report directly to the Acting Executive Director. However, all Commuter Rail Division management personnel share in this responsibility and are expected to share fully in implementing this plan.
   (D)   Management performance in the Commuter Rail Division affirmative action program will be evaluated with the same rigorous standards as are performed on all other Commuter Rail Division goals.
