§ 33.160 CLAIMS.
   No formal request for benefits that are due hereunder shall be required of a participant or beneficiary. Any claim for benefits not received shall be made, in writing, to the Committee. The Committee shall consider such claim and shall, within 60 days, either approve it or deny it. Each denial shall be in writing, setting forth the specific reasons for such denial and be written in a manner calculated to be understood by the participant or beneficiary, and the Committee shall afford a reasonable opportunity to any participant or beneficiary whose claim is denied for a full and fair review of the decision denying the claim.
