§ 33.050 INVESTMENT FUNDS.
   (A)   The Trustees shall maintain or cause to be maintained the following investment funds pursuant to the provisions of the trust:
      (1)   Fixed Income Fund. A fund, the principal and income of which is to be in vested in obligations of the United States government or agencies thereof, savings deposits, guaranteed interest contracts, commercial paper, corporate bonds and other similar investments;
      (2)   Equity Securities Fund. A fund, the principal and income of which is to be invested in a diversified portfolio consisting primarily of common and preferred stocks, or debt obligations convertible into common or preferred stock, of publicly traded corporations; and
      (3)   Other investment funds. Such other special investment funds as may, from time to time, be established by the Committee for purposes of the plan.
   (B)   The foregoing notwithstanding, the Trustees, in their discretion, may invest and reinvest the principal and income of any investment fund in short term obligations, such as, but not limited to, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, notes, bills and acceptances, pending investment in such class of investment as is permissible for such investment fund, and may retain such cash balances in each investment fund as the Trustees deem necessary to meet the current cash needs of the plan.
