This Plan, as amended and restated herein, shall be effective January 1, 1988, and shall apply with respect to any employee whose employment with all participating employers and affiliates is terminated on or after such date. Except as otherwise provided herein, the benefits (if any) under the Plan for an employee whose employment with all participating employers and affiliates is terminated before January 1, 1988 shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of the Plan as existing at the time such employment terminated. Notwithstanding the above, § 31.028 (C), (E), (F)(2) and (G) shall be effective for Plan years beginning on or after January 1, 1987.
