(a) The Village adopts the provisions of Ohio Revised Code 3929.86 where applicable and shall follow the procedures established herein and whereby in certain specified situation insurance proceeds recoverable for fire-damaged structures shall be deposited with the Village to secure the cost and expenses incurred by the Village for removal, repairs or securing of fire-damaged buildings or structures on the property.
(b) The Fiscal Officer is hereby designated as the officer of the village authorized to carry out duties of municipal officers under Ohio Revied Code 3929.86 and shall perform all duties in compliance, including the establishment of a special fund knows as the Fire Damaged Structures Account, Insurance Proceeds, and shall receive and disburse funds in accordance with the provisions in Ohio Revised Code 3929.86
