The duties and responsibilities of the position of Village Administrator shall be as follows:
(a) Manage the sewer and storm drain systems for the Village of Metamora.
(b) Draft bylaws and regulations as deemed necessary for the safe, economical, and efficient management and protection of the sewer and storm drainage systems.
(c) Supervise the improvement and repair of streets, avenues, alleys, lanes, bridges, sidewalks, sewers, drains, ditches, and culverts.
(d) May approve expenditures or sign contracts up to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) without the express consent of Council. Expenditures and or contracts over two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) must be approved by a majority of the Council.
(e) Serve as project manager for all Village construction projects.
(f) Exercise oversight for all Village EPA filings.
(g) Serve as village representative to the Northeast Water District Advisory Council.
(h) Consult with the Fiscal Officer on the operational budget for the sewer and storm drainage systems.
(i) Assist in short and long-term planning needs of the sewer and storm drainage systems.
(j) Present monthly updates and information to Council.
(k) Perform all duties as specified in the Ohio Revised Code, by the Mayor, or by ordinances, resolutions, rules or regulations promulgated from time to time by Council.
