(a) Council shall, except as otherwise provided in this section, meet in regular session at the Village Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month. Should any holiday fall upon the date for a regular meeting, Council shall appoint another date within the same month in lieu thereof. The Mayor or any three members may call special meetings upon twenty-four hours’ notice to each member, served personally at his usual place of residence.
(b) The method to determine the time and place of all regular and special meetings is established as follows:
(1) Council shall publish and post in the Village Municipal Building by the first meeting of January each year a schedule of all regularly scheduled Council, Committee and Planning Commission meetings.
(2) Notice of special meetings, except in the event of an emergency, shall be posted in the Village Municipal Building and actual notice given to any media requesting same at least twenty-four hours in advance.
(3) Any person may receive advance notice and an agenda of all meetings at least twenty-four hours in advance, except in the event of an emergency, by delivering self-addressed, stamped envelopes, with written application for such notices with the Fiscal Officer.
(4) Village office shall be open for telephone inquiries regarding meetings from Monday through Friday, at 644-2051.
