A. The city council declares that this golf cart use and operation chapter is an exercise of the regulatory powers delegated to the council by the state of Nevada pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes 482.398 inter alia.
B. It is the intent of this chapter to provide reasonable regulations for golf carts, as defined in section 6-8-2 of this chapter, to operate on designated public streets, roads and/or highways for the express purpose of traveling the route of access between a golf course and the residence or temporary abode of the owner or operator of the golf cart.
