2-4-41: ENFORCEMENT POWERS:
The police department and city manager or his designee shall have jurisdiction to investigate and enforce the provisions of this chapter. The police department and city manager or his designee shall have all powers which may be necessary or appropriate for a complete and effective exercise of jurisdiction, including, but not limited to, the power to enter and inspect the licensed premises at any time during the business hours of the licensee, and the police department and the city manager or his designee shall have the power to examine all books and records of the licensee or applicant. The police department and the city manager or his designee are each authorized to request information from a licensee or applicant at any time in furtherance of the exercise of their jurisdiction.
