An application to donate a conservation easement shall be signed by the owner(s), or agent of the owner(s), of the affected property and made on a form provided by the Building Department and shall include a copy of the deed purporting to evidence current ownership and the description of the easement area. A sample form of a conservation easement approved by the Law Department shall be delivered to each applicant. No fee shall be charged to file an application. The application, upon approval of the Building Department for content, shall be forwarded to the Department of Planning and Development for presentation to the Land Conservation Easement Commission.
