1505.07 PRIVATE HYDRANTS, FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS.
   (a)    Where more than one hydrant is required to be installed on the same main, such main shall be looped or supplied with water from two sources if it is determined by the Fire Chief to be necessary for fire safety.
   (b)    Hydrants on private property shall be within ten feet (10') of the paved or improved portion of a roadway, fire lane or driveway unless otherwise authorized by the Fire Chief, provided however, that no hydrant shall be located closer to a building or structure than one and one-half times the height of said building or structure.
