The board of review for the city shall consist of the mayor, city administrator, city clerk, two (2) alderpersons and two (2) citizen members. The alderpersons shall be elected annually by the common council. The alderpersons so elected shall be members of the board until their successors are elected or until their offices as alderpersons may be terminated. The citizen members shall be appointed annually by the mayor subject to common council confirmation. Such members of the board, who are under law entitled to compensation, shall be paid the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day. The board shall meet annually at any time during the thirty (30) day period beginning with the second Monday in May, at the common council chambers in the city hall; and a majority thereof shall constitute a quorum. In the event any officer of the city is ineligible to serve on the board of review, an additional common council member shall be appointed to said board. (1975 Code Ch. 3 § I)
