10-1-3: DISTRICTS:
   A.   Districts Established: For the purposes of this title, the city of Menomonie is hereby divided into the following districts:

   B.   Boundaries: The boundaries of the aforesaid districts are hereby established as shown on the map entitled "district map, city of Menomonie, Wisconsin", dated April 5, 1971, which map is made a part of this title. All notations and references shown on the district map are as much a part of this title as though specifically described herein.
      1.   The district boundaries are streets, alleys, railroads, lot lines or streams, unless otherwise shown, and where the designation on the district map indicates that the various districts are approximately bounded by a street, alley, railroad, lot line or stream, such lot line or the centerline of such street, alley or railroad right of way, or centerline of the main channel of such stream shall be construed to be the district boundary line.
      2.   In unsubdivided property, the location of the district boundary lines shown on the district map shall be determined by use of the scale shown on such map.
   C.   District Map: There shall be a certified copy of the district map described above. A copy of such map shall be kept in the office of the city clerk, and shall be available for inspection by any person during regular office hours. No amendment of this title which causes a change in the boundaries of any district shall become effective until such change has been shown on the certified copy, and shall show the number of the amending ordinance and the date of its adoption.
