A. All lots and parcels in the city shall be numbered in accordance with the building numbering map on file in the office of the building inspector. All lots, parcels and portions thereof, hereafter platted or otherwise subdivided, shall be numbered to conform as nearly as possible to the general scheme of numbering as outlined on said map.
B. The owner of any building required by this section to be numbered, and which is not numbered or is incorrectly numbered, shall forthwith cause the same to be numbered or renumbered within thirty (30) days of written notice from the building inspector.
C. Building numbers shall not be less than four inches (4") in height and shall be conspicuously placed above, on or at the side of the main entrance to the building so that the number can be easily legible or readable from the street.
D. In multiple occupancy buildings the numbering shall be as directed by the building inspector.
E. It shall be the duty of the building inspector to inform any person applying therefor of the number applicable to any property or building. The inspector shall keep the building numbering map current and available for inspection. (1975 Code Ch. 6 § XII)
