1-7-3: TREASURER-COMPTROLLER SURETY:
   A.   The city of Menomonie does obligate itself to pay, in case the city treasurer-comptroller of the city of Menomonie fails to do so, all taxes of any kind required by law to be paid by such treasurer-comptroller to the county treasurer.
   B.   This section is adopted pursuant to section 70.67, Wisconsin statutes. (1975 Code Ch. 3 § XII)
