9-1-5: PLANS REQUIRED:
Each application for a building permit shall be accompanied by two (2) sets of plans. The plans shall include a plot plan, foundation plan, floor plan for each floor, elevations of each side of structure and a section through the bearing wall. Plans shall be drawn at scale sufficiently large to show necessary details clearly.
   A.   The plot plan shall show the size and location of buildings to be erected, existing buildings, distance from building to property lines and driveway and walk locations. A copy of the legal description of the property shall be submitted with the plot plan.
   B.   The foundation plan shall show the size and location of footings, supporting columns, beams and basement stairs. (1975 Code Ch. 16 § V)
   C.   The floor plan shall show the size and location of rooms, doors, windows and closets, and show the location of bathroom fixtures.
   D.   The section shall show materials used in foundations, walls and roof. The thickness and grade of material shall be noted. The height of all walls and ceilings shall be shown.
   E.   The building inspector may require additional information or details of construction in order to check the plans for compliance with this chapter. (1975 Code Ch. 16 § V; amd. 2009 Code)
