The city of Menomonie water utility shall be responsible for the protection of the public potable water distribution system from contamination or pollution due to backflow of contaminants or pollutants. The water utility shall charge fees according to the water utility's "Cross Connection Control Manual" for maintaining a comprehensive cross connection control protection plan.
