8-3-7: CUSTOMER CLASSIFICATIONS:
   A.   For the purpose of imposing the charges imposed under this chapter, all lots and parcels of land in the city shall be classified into the following customer classifications:
      1.   Single-family residential - single-family unit.
      2.   Limited multiple residential - duplex, threeplex and fourplex units.
      3.   Full multiple residential - multi-family unit.
      4.   Nonresidential.
   B.   The equivalent runoff unit (ERU) charges for the foregoing classifications shall be established as follows:
      1.   Single-family residential: One ERU.
      2.   Limited multiple residential: Sixty seven hundredths (0.67) ERU times the number of dwelling units within the dwelling.
      3.   Full multiple residential: One ERU times a factor obtained by dividing the total impervious area of the residential property by the square footage equivalent for one ERU (3,000 square feet). Such impervious area shall be determined based on the best information reasonably available. The result shall be rounded down to the nearest 0.5. The minimum charge for a residential property shall be equal to the rate for 0.5 of one ERU.
      4.   Nonresidential: One ERU times a factor obtained by dividing the total impervious area of the nonresidential property by the square footage equivalent for one ERU (3,000 square feet). Such impervious area shall be determined based on the best information reasonably available. The result shall be rounded down to the nearest 0.5. The minimum charge for a nonresidential property shall be equal to the rate for five-tenths (0.5) of one ERU. (Ord. 2007-14, 11-5-2007)
