A. Meter Removal: No meter shall be removed or otherwise disturbed except by the utility or its authorized agents.
B. Change To Unmetered Service Prohibited: No permit will be given to change from metered to unmetered service.
C. Interference With Meters: No person except an employee of the utility shall interfere in any way with the meter after it is installed. In case the meter seal is intentionally or carelessly broken, or the meter is intentionally or carelessly damaged, or the working parts of the meter are tampered with, the utility will render a bill to the consumer for the current period based on the average last year.
D. Commercial Customers: Commercial customers having water cooled refrigeration or other equipment or using water for sprinkling or cooling its products, and residences having faucets with hose connections shall be metered. (1975 Code Ch. 4 § I)
