6-1-11: LOW-SPEED VEHICLE USAGE:
   A.   Definitions: For purposes of this section, certain words and terms are defined as follows:
   LOW-SPEED VEHICLE: Shall have the same meaning as provided in section 340.01(27h), Wisconsin Statutes.
   ROADWAY: Shall have the same meaning as provided in section 340.01(54), Wisconsin Statutes.
   B.   Operation On Roadway: A low-speed vehicle may be operated on any roadway that has a speed limit of thirty five (35) miles per hour or less that is located within the City limits regardless of whether the City has jurisdiction over the roadway, provided that there is compliance with subsections C, D and E of this section.
   C.   Speed Limit Limitation: No person may operate a low-speed vehicle on any roadway at a speed in excess of twenty five (25) miles per hour.
   D.   Driver's License Required: No person may operate a low-speed vehicle on any roadway unless the person has a valid operator's license pursuant to section 343.05, Wisconsin Statutes.
   E.   Vehicle License Required: A low-speed vehicle shall be licensed by the State pursuant to section 341.25, Wisconsin Statutes.
   F.   Penalty For Violation: Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a forfeiture not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00). (Ord. 2010-10, 9-20-2010, eff. 10-1-2010)
