A. Prohibitions: Pursuant to the provisions of section 349.18(4), Wisconsin statutes, no pedestrian shall:
1. Cross a street or highway at any controlled intersection where a "no pedestrian crossing" sign has been erected; and
2. Cross any other street or highway where pedestrian crossing has been specifically prohibited by signs and/or signals.
B. Penalty: Any person who shall violate any provision of this section shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty five dollars ($25.00), together with the cost of prosecution. (1975 Code Ch.7 §IX; amd. 2009 Code)
