Section 174.046, Wisconsin statutes, is hereby adopted and made a part of this chapter. The following impoundment and boarding fees shall be paid by an owner or other person prior to release of a dog from impoundment: twenty five dollars ($25.00), plus two dollars fifty cents ($2.50) for each full day of impoundment. If the dog is requested to be disposed of, said fees shall be paid by the owner. If the dog is from outside the jurisdiction of the city and is not claimed within seven (7) days after impoundment said fees shall be paid by the agency or officer who delivered the dog for impoundment.
