A. Definitions:
CIGARETTE: Shall have the meaning as defined in section 139.30(1m), Wisconsin statutes.
PREMISES: Vacant land or land with improvements thereto or structures thereon.
SCHOOL BOARD: Shall have the meaning as defined in section 115.001(7), Wisconsin statutes.
SMOKE: The carrying of a lighted tobacco product, lighted cigarette, lighted pipe or any other lighted smoking equipment. See section 101.123(1)(h), Wisconsin statutes.
TOBACCO PRODUCTS: Shall have the meaning as defined in section 139.75(12), Wisconsin statutes.
USE: Shall have the meaning as defined in section 139.75(13), Wisconsin statutes.
B. Smoking Prohibited: It is unlawful for any person to smoke or use cigarettes or other tobacco products on premises owned by, rented by or under the control of the school district of the Menomonie area that are located within the city limits of the city of Menomonie, pursuant to the policy enacted by the school board of the school district of the Menomonie area, said policy being statutorily mandated by section 120.12(20), Wisconsin statutes.
