A. False Fire, Police Or Ambulance Alarms: It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally make, turn in or give a false alarm of fire, or of need for police or ambulance assistance, or to aid or abet in the commission of such act.
B. False Report Of Crime: It shall be unlawful for any person to make to, or file with, the police department of the city any false, misleading or unfounded statement or report concerning the commission or alleged commission of any crime occurring within the city. (1975 Code Ch. 11 § IX)
C. Misuse Of Emergency Telephone Numbers: It shall be unlawful for any person to:
1. Intentionally dial the emergency telephone number "911" or the secondary emergency telephone numbers "715-232-1283" or "715-232-2414" to report an emergency to city departments knowing that the fact situation which he or she reports does not exist; or
2. Intentionally dial the emergency telephone number "911" or the secondary emergency telephone numbers "715-232-1283" or "715-232-2414" for purposes of communication that are: a) not related to the reporting of an actual emergency or b) not related to a legitimate municipal business purpose.
